Conincx Pop is a free festival known for its relaxed and welcoming vibe both for the audience and backstage. Each year, the alternative program draws around 5,000 visitors — music lovers from the region of all ages, from young children to seniors in their 80s, including locals from the village.

The story

My first visit to this small and cozy free festival in Elsloo. The reason? To see my favorite band, Vive la Fête, perform live! Good music, great people, and tasty Leffe — a perfect recipe for a wonderful day. And today’s photos are featured on the Conincx Pop website — so cool!

Wuppertal is a city in western Germany. It's known for its Schwebebahn, a suspension monorail dating from 1901.

The story

On my way back from Essen, I made a stop in the always-lovely city of Wuppertal. Since it was another scorching hot summer day and I wanted to travel light, I brought along the good old Samsung camera. It’s amazing that a camera more than 10 years old can still produce such stunning images – a true hidden gem for street photography!
