Maastricht is a city and a municipality in the southeastern Netherlands. It is the capital and largest city of the province of Limburg. Maastricht is located on both sides of the Meuse, at the point where the Jeker joins it. Mount Saint Peter is largely situated within the city's municipal borders.

The story

Capturing some details of Maastricht by manually focusing with the good ol’ X-E2 paired with the Zonlai lens, and adding a hint of old-school colors using the Kodachrome II recipe.

Koninklijke Burgers' Zoo 🇳🇱

Royal Burgers' Zoo is a zoo in Arnhem, Netherlands, and is one of the biggest zoos in the country. Arnhem is a city that lies within the Veluwe, a nature park in the east of the Netherlands. The zoo is popular with both Dutch and German people, and receives about 1 million visitors annually. It was founded by Johan Burgers in 1913.

The story

A trip to the zoo: dusted off the old kit zoom lens and, defying all conventions, shot everything in black and white! We’re not going for colorful pictures here, but for the classic, high-contrast black and white look so that the wildlife really pops.

Efteling is a fantasy-themed amusement park in Kaatsheuvel, the Netherlands. The attractions reflect elements from ancient myths and legends, fairy tales, fables, and folklore. The park was opened on May 31, 1952. It evolved from a nature park with a playground and a Fairytale Forest into a full-sized theme park.
