Leipzig 🇩🇪
Leipzig is the most populous city in the German state of Saxony. It is the eighth-largest city in Germany and is part of the Central German Metropolitan Region. Leipzig is located about 150 km southwest of Berlin, in the southernmost part of the North German Plain, at the confluence of the White Elster and its tributaries Pleiße and Parthe. Leipzig has been a trade city since at least the time of the Holy Roman Empire.
The story
After a long, comfortable drive through mainland Germany yesterday, avoiding the autobahns, I arrived in Leipzig from Dresden. No pics on the driving day, but on this Halloween I walked a few miles and snapped some photos!
