Ardoe House Hotel, Aberdeen 🇬🇧

Suicide, murder and betrayal is a very real part of the hotel’s past and the cause for its incredible amount of paranormal activity.


Dunnottar Castle, Stonehaven 🇬🇧

Situated near Stonehaven, this 14th century coastal castle is said to be home to several frequently sighted ghosts. The most common of which is the spirit of a young girl wearing a plaid dress spotted in the brewery. The guardroom is said to be haunted by a Nordic-looking man, who paces around the room.


Edzell Castle, Brechin 🇬🇧

The castle is said to be haunted by a ‘White Lady’, reputedly the spirit of Catherine Campbell, second wife of David Lindsay, 9th Earl of Crawford.

Urquhart Castle, Inverness 🇬🇧

Once a formidable fortress, Urquhart castle was at the mercy of invading armies and devious political factions intent on taking power. In 1692, the British once and for all destroyed the great structure. Still a fascinating attraction, Urquhart provides the perfect backdrop to the legendary lake where the illusive water monster is said to live.


Tulloch Castle, Dingwall 🇬🇧

Several ghosts have been spotted in the castle but the most famous is the Green Lady who has been seen by dozens of people. She is believed to be the ghost of Elizabeth Davidson, whose family once owned the castle.

Overtoun Bridge, Dumbarton 🇬🇧

Since the 1950s, numerous reports of dogs either falling or jumping from the bridge have been reported. With the incidents often resulting in serious injury or death upon landing on the rocks some 50 ft/15 m below, the bridge has been nicknamed the “Dog Suicide Bridge”. Various explanations for these deaths have been proposed, ranging from natural accidents to paranormal activity.


The Drovers Inn, Inverarnan 🇬🇧

The two most haunted rooms in the inn are rooms 2 and 6, both of which offer apparitions of a young girl, dripping wet (many believe she tragically drowned nearby). Some have reported seeing the ghosts of an entire family who froze to death during one of Scotland’s fierce winters. Unexplained lights have appeared in rooms as well as apparitions turning up in photographs.

Loch Ness 🇬🇧

Loch Ness is a large freshwater loch in the Scottish Highlands extending for approximately 37 kilometres southwest of Inverness. It takes its name from the River Ness, which flows from the northern end. Loch Ness is best known for alleged sightings of the cryptozoological Loch Ness Monster, also known affectionately as “Nessie”.

Llandudno 🇬🇧

Llandudno is a seaside resort, town and community in Conwy County Borough, Wales, located on the Creuddyn peninsula, which protrudes into the Irish Sea.


Newsham Park Hospital, Liverpool 🇬🇧

Reported sightings of ghosts include that of a small child on the top floor corridor and shadowy figures on Ward G. Visitors to the basements have reported an uneasy feeling and dragging noises have been heard from the Dining Room while nobody is there. The building now hosts both private and public nocturnal ghost hunts. It is now opened to ghost hunting events that accrue around autumn and are investigated by investigators and local people.


Ye Olde Man & Scythe, Bolton 🇬🇧

Ye Olde Man & Scythe is said to be haunted by a young girl named Jenny and the ill fated James Stanley, 7th Earl of Derby, who has reputedly been seen in the Museum Room.


Lake District National Park 🇬🇧

The Lake District National Park is a national park in North West England that includes all of the central Lake District, though the town of Kendal, some coastal areas, and the Lakeland Peninsulas are outside the park boundary.


Comlongon Castle, Clarencefield 🇬🇧

Lady Marion Carruthers fell to her death in a case or either suicide or murder. At the point where she landed, no grass would grow, a feeling of sorrow was felt, and Lady Marion was seen crying. She has now been seen throughout the castle and is said to appear in photographs.

Broadway Tower, Broadway 🇬🇧

Broadway Tower is a folly on Broadway Hill, near the large village of Broadway, in the English county of Worcestershire, at the second-highest point of the Cotswolds.


Tretower Castle, Tretower 🇬🇧

Sneak into the castle on a dark night and you may feel very uncomfortable… as if you’re being stalked. You may even see the figure of the ghostly “white lady”. She appears in the bed chambers but will follow you anywhere in the castle or the surrounding area. She doesn’t bring harm to people but people are seldom fearless in her presence.
