The place is reportedly haunted by The Blue Maid who was the former maid of the manor. According to some old stories, a young maid of the mansion who was unsuccessful in love decided to drown herself in the lake Kaukajarvi. Before that, she fell and both of her legs got broken. That's why the ghost of the place is said to be without legs.
