Carnival

Carnival is a festive season that occurs at the close of the Christian pre-Lenten period, consisting of Quinquagesima or Shrove Sunday, Shrove Monday, and Shrove Tuesday or Mardi Gras. Carnival typically involves public celebrations, including events such as parades, public street parties and other entertainments, combining some elements of a circus. Elaborate costumes and masks allow people to set aside their everyday individuality and experience a heightened sense of social unity.

Düsseldorf 🇩🇪

Düsseldorf is the capital city of North Rhine-Westphalia, the most populous state of Germany. It is the second-largest city in the state after Cologne and the sixth-largest city in Germany

The story 📖

For this year’s carnival, I have decided to go to Düsseldorf! I noticed that it was a lot smaller than last year’s in Köln, so it turned into a day of strolling up and down the Königsallee. Nevertheless, the people were very friendly and nice! On to day two!
