Halle (Saale), or simply Halle, is the second largest city of the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. It is the sixth-most populous city in the area of former East Germany after Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden, Chemnitz and Magdeburg as well as the 31st-largest city of Germany.
The story
A quick stroll through a new city after a long journey: Halle (Saale), followed by two other major German cities over the next few days! As almost always when I visit a new city, I pack the Ricoh GR II to quickly snap my first impressions.
